What a way to display your favorite pictures! While the computer screen is the norm for sending and viewing photo's, this alternate method is just great! It allows one to display your pictures anywhere and no longer be tethered to your computer. This is joint venture between Polaroid and Ceiva companies. I just received the product and the service is now tied to the Ceiva web site. Ceiva makes the frame and has upgraded the service. Polaroid may be in trouble financially but Ceiva is running the complete show now. The Ceiva people were really on the ball and seemed very knowledgeable.

The frame is a very high quality product. Includes a black frame and matt that displays all pictures just great. The service has just upgraded. The number of pictures the frame holds has gone from (10)ten to (20)twenty. The frame can display one picture at a time or manual/auto slide show at your display time rate. Some frame aspects are controlled through the Ceiva web site.

There is a monthly fee to access the site, but amenities include storing up to 1000 pictures on their site in your disignated albums. You get an additional three months tacked on, via the Polaroid deal. The site also has available multiple phote galleries which you can access for all kinds of art downloading to your frame. They even have selections of Holiday pictures to add a special meaning.

In addition, the site includes daily auto downloads of stock, weather and major news events of your choosing. You just have your frame hooked into the phone line (adapter/line supplied) and it automaticly downloads during the night so you have fresh information in the morning. Any pictures removed during the downloading remain in the web site for your decision to save in an album or not.

Yes, you can also receive pictures from friends or family by this auto download process or select manual downloading at your choosing. Either way you have quite a system. Once loaded, you can take the frame anywhere, work, friends or nicely displayed at home. When unhooked from power, it keeps all pictures in memory until your reconnection.
